Beowulf Film Critique The base Beowulf was written during the Anglo-Saxon era. The totallyegory portrays the go of this great, right on hero whose goal in bread and butter is to stimulate fame after death. Throughout his journey, he encounters threesome mighty monsters which he defeats. In 2007 the story of Beowulf was do into a film. even out though the story Beowulf was make into a film, the film conductor made some drastic changes in the mentions, the story and its theme. These three changes realize the people perceive how society has changed and help them understand the nowadays version of a hero. One of the drastic changes the film maker made while filming the moving-picture show was the characters. The characters in the motion-picture show unwrap themselves differently than the poem displays them. In the film, the movie maker changed all of the characters because how it is displayed in the today movie it is how society depicts themselves. The main rec all dose Beowulf in the text version is displayed as a sybaritic warrior, hero, vaunter and king of the Geats and in the movie he is displayed as an emotional, mawkish and non-grand hero. The filmmaker shows Beowulf as a weak serviceman macrocosm who is easily seduced. Beowulf is easily seduced by Grendel`s yield, who in the movie appears like a muse.
