Beckys impertinent Car: Play Review On April 18, 2012, I attended a great production called Beckys New Car. This production was written by Steven Dietz and was held at the St. Charles alliance College. Its commonly observed that a successful harlequinade is tougher to surcharge off than a serious dramatic play, that the actors in this play, do a phenomenal job of performing a comedy, which left the audience with laughter all night. The play takes in the summer of present time in an American urban center much like Seattle. Now using Aristotles components for drama, I will analyze this production. Becky Foster (main voice of the play) appears onstage and starts chatting at one time with the audience. Its not a monologue, but she seeks the audiences assistance and invites their opinions. She has a story to tell right away. Its about what has happened to her but she involves to pursue everyone, so she asks several mass to help. The audience seems to help her with her hou secleaning, with acquiring dressed or with do decisions about several considerable personal choices facing her. Becky leads a normal life with Joe, her married man of 28 years, and their son Chris, whos thorn at family while studying psychology.

Her day-by-day routine includes working as a sales coach at a car immunity with Steve, a psychoneurotic salesman still depressed about his married womans accidental death. Things change for Becky one evening when Walter Flood, a millionaire, wanders in the dealership to buy nine cars for his employees. He is intrigued with Becky, whom he misunderstands to be widowed, but for some reason, she cant preferably bring herself to different! iate him straight.
